Reverend Father Pat Punyakamo, whose original name was Pat Konchanthet, was born on May 12, 1922, on Friday, the 2nd waxing moon of the 6th lunar month, at Ban Sa Talay, Tambon Yan Matsee. ผู้เขียนมีโอกาสได้สนทนากับคุณธีภพ ขำศิริ ผู้ที่เคยมีโอกาสสนทนากับหลวงพ่อพัฒน์คราวเดินทางไปปฏิบัติงานในพื้นที่จังหวัดนครสวรรค์เมื่อราวปี ๒๕๖๒ ท่านได้บอกถึงเคล็ดลับของการเป็นผู้สูงวัยสุขภาพดี และมีความสุขว่า
“ผมเรียนคาถามาเยอะ แต่ถ้าอยากให้มีเสน่ห์เมตตาไม่ต้องใช้คาถาเลย”
“เจอใครให้ยิ้มให้ทักทาย พูดแต่เรื่องดีๆ “ใครเห็นใครก็รัก เขาก็เมตตา”
“ผมไม่เอาเรื่องไม่ดีมาคิด ปล่อยวาง ใครจะว่าอะไรช่างเขา”
“ใครมาขออะไรให้ช่วย ถ้าผมช่วยได้ผมก็ช่วย”
ท่านทิ้งท้ายไว้ถึงความเมตตาต่อสรรพสัตว์ว่า
“หมาเกิดมาเป็นหมาก็ลำบากอยู่แล้ว ของกินในวัดก็เยอะแยะ แบ่งกันกินไป”

เนื่องในโอกาสมหามงคลที่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว มหาวชิราลงกรณ พระวชิรเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ พระราชทานสมณศักดิ์ ให้ พระครูนิวิฐปุญญากร เป็น พระราชาคณะชั้นราช ในราชทินนามที่ พระราชมงคลวัชราจารย์ฯ และเนื่องในโอกาสเนื่องในโอกาสเจริญอายุวัฒนมงคล ๑๐๐ ปีของหลวงพ่อพัฒน์ ปุญฺญกาโม
ผมในฐานะพุทธศาสนิกชนผู้มีจิตศรัทธาเลื่อมใสขอกราบอวยพรให้พระเดชพระคุณหลวงปู่เจริญด้วยอายุวัฒนมงคล ดำรงธาตุขันธ์เป็นร่มโพธิ์ร่มไทรให้พระภิกษุสามเณรและพุทธศาสนิกชนในฐานะ “หลักใจแห่งศรัทธาสืบพระศาสนาต่อไป”
